My jewelry career began in 1969. I attended the Minneapolis Area Vocational School. While there I was introduced to the polishing and goldsmith programs, but my main talent and interest was in diamond setting, which I have perfected over the years. As a Master Diamond Setter I serve a variety of clients ranging from retail stores, repair shops (special orders) diamond suppliers, and several well known designers. My career includes working in several shops both manufacturing and repair. In addition I worked in the diamond buying office grading diamonds for Dayton Hudson Jewelers, a former chain of Guild jewelry stores. Next, I worked in sales in the diamond department at J.B. Hudson Jeweler’s downtown Minneapolis. During this time I became a Registered Jeweler with A.G.S. In 1978 I returned to the bench doing what I enjoy the most … diamond setting. In 1985 I became a sole proprietor and have been self employed ever since. My office is in the Plymouth Bldg located in downtown Minneapolis. I look forward to the opportunity of working with you and meeting your diamond setting needs. If I may be of service please contact me at 612-343-8382. |
